What Happens When the Holiday Season Corrupts One’s Memory

1:13am EST — As a reminder after a few new driver announcements for the 2010 Formula1 season, the following is a list of drivers whose contracts have been announced by the driver or team involved.  (Do comment if any contracted drivers have not been listed below)

MercedesGP (formerly BrawnGP): Michael Schumacher, Nico Rosberg

Red Bull: Sebastian Vettel, Mark Webber

McLaren: Jenson Button, Lewis Hamilton

Ferrari: Fernando Alonso, Felipe Massa

Sauber (formerly BMW-Sauber): Kamui Kobayashi, ??

Williams: Rubens Barrichello, Nico Hulkenberg

Renault: Robert Kubica, ??

Force India: Adrian Sutil, Vitantonio Liuzzi

Toro Rosso: Sebastien Buemi, ??

Campos Meta: Bruno Senna, ??

USF1: ??, ??

LotusF1: Jarno Trulli, Heikki Kovalainen

Virgin Racing: Timo Glock, Lucas di Grassi

There are currently only six open seats left for next season, with innumerable drivers vying for a contract.  Of the new teams, only USF1 has not announced a single driver, while eight of the thirteen teams have announced a full driver line-up.  Car launches are expected to begin next month and continue until the season opener in Bahrain.

  1. Hmmm. Both Mercedes and Williams showing Nico Rosberg as a driver. He’ll be busy 😉

    • Thanks for noticing that! Should have read Hulkenberg at Williams…must proofread more, I suppose 🙂

  2. Young Alguersuari (please check that spelling) is expected to continue with STR. However, he’s got some backing from SEAT for some odd reason and Red Bull are looking for possible financial support for the team.
Possibly one of the last remaining question marks come Febuary?
