What Happens When the Silly Season Continues in the Off-Season
9:47am EST — New reports are suggesting that former Toyota driver Timo Glock may drive for ManorGP in 2010. According to Glock’s manager Hans-Bernard Kamps, via James Allen, ManorGP may be a “real possibility” for the German driver. Previously linked to Renault, Glock has been in and out of Formula1, though he has showed real promise with his driving, despite poor qualifying results. Also mentioned in conjunction with ManoGP for 2010 is Lucas di Grassi, currently a Renault reserve driver. While moving to a rookie team is usually not in the absolute best interests for a driver, ManorGP is likely to do decently well with reported Virgin sponsorship. Glock’s experience will also be helpful for the team, as they have decided to use only computer testing and no windtunnels for the car. More information will be published when available.
