Trulli Fined for On-Track Argument in Brazil

What Happens When Throwing a Fit Can Cost One Money

6:57pm EST — The Brazilian stewards have penalized Jarno Trulli for his failure “to leave the track as required by the marshals immediately after the incident and aggressively confronting Adrian Sutil” with a $10,000 fine.  Trulli and Sutil came together on the first lap of the Brazilian GP Sunday, in what the stewards deemed a racing incident.  However, Trulli seemed to feel that the accident that took both men out of the race was decidedly Sutil’s fault, and he visibly remonstrated Sutil in the run-off area, despite Sutil and the marshal’s attempts to move the discussion off-track.  This occurred after the Italian had been reprimanded for impeding Sebastien Buemi during qualifying.
