Williams and Force India Rejoin FOTA

What Happens When its Time to Come Back into the Fold

11:02am EST — According to Reuters F1 correspondent Alan Baldwin and Pitpass.com, Williams and Force India have rejoined FOTA this weekend at the Italian GP.  In a statement by the association, FOTA (and Ferrari) President Luca di Montezemolo said, “FOTA re-affirmed that all teams competing in Formula1 are able to join the association.  FOTA therefore welcomes back into full membership both Williams and Force India .”  The teams had previously been suspended from the association for signing the recent Concorde Agreement before the rest of FOTA and not standing with the association in its threats for a breakaway series earlier this season.
