Renault Defiant and Optimistic and Prepared

What Happens When the Trucks Show Up Anyway

— According to F1 Complete, the Renault trucks are the first at the track for Valencia.  True, they are parked in the paddock of the nearby permanent track until the street-circuit completes its preparations (and the regular motorists of Valencia stop driving on it), but so too will the rest of the teams that arrive shortly.  With the appeal set for a week from today and the inability of the team to transport everything in the short time after the Tuesday decision but before the race, they have no choice but to prepare as though they are racing.  Still, most (including myself) think that the suspension will be removed and the team will race with Spanish hero Fernando Alonso.
